Take a refreshing dip in the warm water spring at the town center perfect for washing off the salt after visiting the salt lagoons. Further down the same road, you’ll find the famous Cleopatra’s Spring.
Despite some reviews from Quit and Go Travel describing it as dirty and overrated, I was pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend a visit. The spring itself is a deep, bright blue pool with air bubbling up from its depths. The water’s beautiful color was maintained by a diligent man who used a broom like tool to clear floating algae (no doubt the technical term!).
There are also few lovely cafés by the spring, covered in plants. you can relax on a colorful rug with a book and a mango juice, feeling like you was in a tree-top, while watching tourists dive into the spring.
